Lady Broncos Hit 14-Win Streak

The Lady Broncos put three more games in the win column this past week. Stuart hosted their first Tri this week playing Neligh-Oakdale and St. Mary's on Monday night. The Broncos came out playing well with good defense and strong and aggressive attacks at the net which put both teams on defense most of the night. The girls were able to get it done in two sets in both matches.

Thursday night the Broncos hosted the Osmond Tigers. The Broncos started off slow against a very scrappy Osmond Team, but once the girls got going with strong play at the net from all the hitters on the floor put the tigers back on their heels. Strong serving also helped their cause and the girls were able to take them down in three straight sets. The Junior varsity team got a little action and played one set and came out with a win. All around play from the team got stronger as the girls finished the game.

Reagan Stracke led against Neligh-Oakdale with her 12 kills, five digs and four set assists; Addie Ketteler had four kills, five ace serves, seven digs and eight set assists; Addison Steinhauser had three kills, three blocks, two digs and one set assist; Kyra Tubbs had one kill and one set assist; Megan Karo had three ace serves and two digs; Elly Steinhauser had one ace serve and six digs; Cecelia Addison had one ace serve and one dig; Klaire Ramm had one ace serve; Alyssa Karo had one block and one dig and Paityn Sheffield one dig.

Stracke was again MVP against St. Mary's with her 14 kills, one block, eight digs and five set assists; Ketteler had seven kills, two ace serves, five digs and 15 set assists; A. Steinhauser had two kills, two ace serves, three blocks and two digs; E. Steinhauser had one ace serve and eight digs; Addison had four digs and one set assist; Karo and Sheffield both had three digs and Tubbs one dig and one set assist.

Stracke once again led the team against Osmond with 20 kills, one ace serve, three blocks, 12 digs and nine set assists; Ketteler had nine kills, one block, eight digs and 11 set assists; Sheffield four kills, two digs and two set assists; A. Steinhauser two kills, two ace serves, one block and six digs; Ramm had one kill; Addison had two ace serves, six digs and two set assists; Karo had one ace serve and eight digs;  E. Steinhauser had 15 digs and three set assists and Tubbs four set assists.
