The Stuart Lady Broncos had a tough two games as they welcomed #5 EPPJ to town and had to travel to Taylor to take on Twin Loup. Against EPPJ, the Lady Broncos played a great defensive game but poor shooting from the free throw line hurt the Lady Broncos as they fell to EPPJ, 44-39. The Lady Broncos were 5/13 from the free throw line. Leading the way for the Lady Broncos was Cadence Kramer with 9 points and 4 rebounds; Lexi Schroder 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists; Taya Schmaderer 6 points and 6 assists; Lacey Paxton 6 points and 6 steals. It was a different story when the Lady Broncos traveled to Taylor as they were 21-30 from the free throw line in their 53-37 victory. Lexi Schroder had a career high 28 points. Schroder was 13/16 from the line and ripped down 7 rebounds to lead the team. Seniors, Taya Schmaderer and Cadence Kramer each had 7 points. Kramer had 5 rebounds to compliment those points. Lacey Paxton had 5 points and 3 steals in the contest. The Lady Broncos will finish out the week as they travel to Valentine on Thursday and host Santee on Friday.
