Gravel bids were reviewed. Motion by Keyes, 2nd by Neiman, to accept all gravel bids from April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025. The County reserves the right to reject any product that does not meet County specs and will not allow a fuel surcharge. Voting Aye: Neiman, Breiner, Paxton, Frahm, Treptow, Keyes and Tielke. Voting Nay: None. Motion carried. Time was allowed to discuss the possibility of relocating the District #6 Shop. Motion by Paxton, 2nd by Neiman, to purchase 8 acres from the Village of Stuart for the future site of the District #6 County shop for $6,400.00 per acre. Voting Aye: Breiner, Paxton, Frahm, Treptow, Keyes, Neiman and Frahm. Voting Nay: None. Motion carried. The Board discussed the purchase of a snow pusher. The Board discussed the purchase of a new grader through the SourceWell bid. Motion by Frahm, 2nd by Keyes, to purchase a new 2024 140-15AWD Caterpillar motorgrader from NMC CAT through the SourceWell contract for $437,000.00.
