Chambers — Harold Dale Larson, 72, of Chambers, died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025 surrounded by family at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill after suffering an aneurysm while enjoying a drive on the backroads with his wife of 51 years Becky (Summerer) Larson. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025 at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Outdoor funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 at Bethany Presbyterian Church in rural Ewing. Cowboy casual dress is encouraged and closed toed shoes are recommended for the cemetery. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery in rural Ewing. The family invites you to join them afterwards at the Chambers Community Center for lunch. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. The couple has been blessed by four children Brian Larson of Bridgeport, WV, Cathleen (Bill) Bohaty of Mead, Amy (Tom) Scott and Bradley (Emily) Larson, all of Chambers. Harold loved being a grandpa to Hannah Scott, Wyatt Bohaty, Brock Scott, Draeger Scott, Weston Brown, Vivien Larson, Augustus Larson, Jameson Scott and Solomon Larson. Harold was born on July 29, 1953 in Burwell. At a young age, the family moved to the homestead east of Chambers where he lived most of his adult life. He graduated from Chambers High School in 1971, where he excelled in football, basketball and track. Throughout his life Harold was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed rodeo, coyote hunting, ranching, feeding his fish and especially exploring on his side-by-side. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren Harold is survived by four siblings Wayne (Julie) Larson of Billings, MT, Carolyn (Jerry) Dusatko of Kinsey, MT, Ramona (Dan) Cutler of Blair and Sandy (Tom, deceased) Sonderup of Fullerton; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harlan and Phyllis (Wood) Larson.
