Elizabeth Marie Rone Ritter Matschullat, 93, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 in Omaha.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 the Pleasanton United Methodist Church  in Pleasanton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at the church  in Pleasanton.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at the Pleasanton Cemetery in Pleasanton.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island was in charge of the arrangements.

Elizabeth was born March 23, 1930, and passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father Aug. 31, 2023, in Omaha. 

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. 

Elizabeth loved her nieces and nephews like her own children, she never met a stranger. She will always be fondly remembered for her charm, humor, intelligence and warmth. 

Elizabeth is survived by her six children Bruce Rodney (Irasema) Ritter, Brenda Rae (Joe) Costanza, Billy Reese (Debbie) Ritter, Bradley Roger (Cathy) Ritter, Beth Rene (Alan) Ritter and Barbara Rochelle (Todd) Ibach; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three siblings, one aunt “Avie” and her beloved grandmother “Mama T.”
