The Stuart Bronco Football started the season by traveling to Cody to take on the Cowboys. The Broncos came out strong in the first quarter and never looked back. The Broncos were up 30-6 at half and had the score 46-6 in the fourth quarter with a running clock. The final score ended up 46-20. 

Owen Littau led the way on the ground with 120 yards on just 10 carries. Drew Schmaderer found the endzone twice. Schmaderer had 10 carries for 67 yards. Kayde Ramm busted a long touchdown run for 63 yards on one of his two carries. Ramm was also 6/9 passing for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Bryer Almgren had five carries for 28 yards and Nigel Addison and Austin Connot each had three carries for a combined 25 yards. 

Ben Paxton led the receivers with four catches for 52 yards and two touchdowns and Littau had a catch for 25 yards. Hunter Tubbs had one catch for seven yards.

Defensively, Ben Paxton led the way with seven tackles and Senior Hunter Tubbs wasn't far behind with six. Nigel Addison, Gavynn Mustin and Drew Schmaderer each chipped in with four tackles. Mustin had an early interception in the first quarter. 

The Broncos will host the #1 team in the state and defending state champions, SEM Mustangs, Friday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. for this top five matchup.
