The O'Neill Eagles welcomed a large field of teams at their home Cross Country Invitational, showcasing talent across the varsity, junior varsity, and junior high divisions.

The high school girl's varsity team ran to a solid fouth-place finish overall. Leading the way for the Eagles was Kiarra Kennedy, who earned a strong third-place medal, followed by Taya Dickau in 11th place. Rounding out the varsity squad were Lynn Miner (21st), Emma Bowder (26th), Mollie Corkle (27th), and Hailey Romesser (30th). In the JV girls race, the Eagles picked up two medals with Jailyn Romesser placing third and Emma French eighth.

On the boys' side, the varsity team earned third place overall behind three medalists: Max Berg (fourth), Paul Fonseca (eighth), and Alonso Hernandez (12th). Teammates Tomas Arciniega (21st), Brandon Romero (23rd), and Evan Cole (24th) added depth to the Eagles' team score. The boys JV team dominated, claiming eight of the top ten medals. Jordan Ramirez won the race, followed closely by Brock Latzel (second), Tyson Becker (fourth), Alex Otte (fifth), Alex Nelson (sixth), Eden Calvo (seventh), Logan Bradshaw (eighth), and Luke Wilson (ninth). Additional strong performances came from Isaac Sunum (11th), Kaleb Asche (14th), Gavin Kruse (15th), Liam Kennedy (16th), Tucker Cook (20th), and Shotara Tetsukawa (24th).

The junior high girls team also competed well, with Erandi Pantago earning a medal in 11th place. Teammates followed closely with Madia Sanchez (19th), Mya McCormick (20th), Aiyana Brown (21st), Khloe Kopecky (30th), and Cheza Sterns-Burival (34th). In the junior high boys race, the Eagles picked up two medals as Kyler Wettlaufer finished runner-up in second place and Lane Dougherty placed 9th. The rest of the team included Leonardo Calvo (33rd), Era French (37th), Jase Sanders (38th), Octavia Garcia (42nd), Alvaro Garcia (53rd), Fernando Cayax (56th), and Justin Luzania (57th).

With medals won across every level, the Eagles made their home invitational a memorable one, showing depth, improvement, and team spirit throughout the day.
