Eagle Wrestlers Compete At Wood River And West Holt

Last Friday, Dec. 13 the Eagle boys participated in the Wood River Invite. After a rocky start to the season, this was their chance to pick up the pieces. Unfortunately for the Eagles, they placed the same as last tame, taking 11th place.

Ethan Sukup placed fourth  at 113 lb.

Pryor Mathews placed first at 165 lb.

Grady Welke placed second at 175 lb.

The girls are fairing better this year so far. Last Monday they competed in the West Holt Invite and took home sixth place. They were supposed to take part in the West Point Beemer Invite last Saturday but it was canceled.
