Atkinson — Donald George Wedige, 86, of Atkinson, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Central Nebraska Veteran's Home in Kearney surrounded by his loving family. Visitation was held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson with a rosary. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Atkinson. Frs. Bernard Starman and Ross Burkhalter will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Atkinson with military rites provied by the Atkinson American Legion Post No. 86 and an honor service by the Atkinson Fire and Rescue Department. Memorials may be made to the Central Nebraska VA Home in Kearney in Don's name.
