While visiting her uncle at Minot Air Force Base, in North Dakota, during an Air Show, she met Delbert Parshall, who was an Air Force firefighter. After she became an empty nester, she enjoyed working part-time positions throughout O'Neill and happily “retired” in 2015 She had a green thumb and grew great gardens. Cindy took great pride in her home and enjoyed canning everything, butchering and was a great cook. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidering and painting on her iPad. Cindy loved watching old westerns, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right. She enjoyed camping, along with travel, which included the lower 48 states, the Bahamas, Australia and a trip to New York, where she saw the Twin Towers, three days before Sept. 11th. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
