Cardinals Trounce Niobrara/Verdigre

The St. Mary's boys traveled to Niobrara on Tuesday, Dec. 7 and trounced the Cougars on their home court winning 73-38.

The Cardinals took charge from the get-go outscoring the Cougars 47-17. The bench saw action in the second half; with the damage done in the first half the Cards cruised to a 35 point win.

Aidan Hedstrom led the Cards with 24 points, Aidan hit eight of 13 for 62 percent from the two-point range and two of two three-pointers, Hedstrom had nine points and one steal; Adam Everitt 12 points and seven rebounds; Blake Benson 11 points with three of seven three-pointers, Blake had four rebounds and three steals; Isaac Everitt nine points, three rebounds and three steals; Tate Thompson eight points, seven rebounds and four steals; Charles Barlow four points and five rebounds and one steal; Carson Dannenbring three points; and Gabe Pribil two points, two rebounds and one steal.
