CWC Boys Have Slow Start To Basketball Season

The CWC boys have started their season with two losses. In the season opener the boys fell to Summerland 56-23. 

In the first game the Renegades fell far from the mark and were slow to get their game going, trailing, scoring only three in the first quarter and with seven in the second to follow 24-10 at the half.

The Bobcats averaged 11-16 points per quarter to seal the victory.

Leading the Renegades was Solan Bowen with 10 points and four rebounds; Peter Jesse with five points and eight rebounds; William Jesse with four points and three rebounds; and Gunner Hoerle with one point and one rebound.

Last Saturday, Dec. 10 the Renegades were edged out by the Elkhorn Valley Falcons 53-52.

Leading the Renegades was Solan Bowen with 14 points and four rebounds; Beau Butterfield with seven points and five rebounds; Chase Halsey with four points and four rebounds; Gunner Hoerle with four points and four rebounds; and Peter Jesse with three points and six rebounds.
