BRONCO REAGAN STRACKE (9) gets ready to nail the ball across the court against St. Mary's. The Stuart Broncos took down the Cardinals back-to-back to qualify for State.

The Lady Broncos were able to hold Sub Districts at home being the number one seed, taking on the CWC Renegades for the third time this season. The ladies were able to take the Renegades in three sets with strong serving and good defense.

In the next round the girls faced the St. Mary's Cardinals on Tuesday night. The Broncos played well, doing a great job of running a quick offense and being able to terminate the ball right away. Another night of strong serving and serve receive help take the Cardinals down in three sets.

The Broncos waited for the District Final pairings to come out on Thursday. The Broncos came out with the #6 Seed which paired them up with the #11 Seed which ended up being St. Mary's.

The District Final match-up took place Saturday in Stuart at 1:00 which would give one of these teams a State berth. In the game the girls did not pass as well as they did the last time against the Cardinals but they were still able to take out of transition balls and find a way to put it down. St. Mary's attacked the right side of our court, but good strong defensive plays were made to keep the offense going. The girls struggled in the third set and almost made a comeback but just missed out. Strong serving once again and good passing got the job done for them giving them the win in four.

The girls will head to Lincoln and play a #3 Seed Shelton at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Thursday morning at 11:00. This will be the Broncos fourth year in a row qualifying for state.
