Broncos Compete In Summerland Quad

The lady Broncos traveled to Summerland to play in a quad on Thursday. First they took on a tough opponent in Summerland. Slow starts in each set had the Broncos playing hard to overcome each deficit, unforced errors and struggling getting that pass. The girls lost in three but battled in each one. 

The girls took on a young Niobrara Verdigre team after that and came out with a win in two sets. 

The girls then traveled to Spalding to take on Riverside in a duel. The lady Broncos got right after it, serving strong and keeping Riverside on defense throughout the night gave the girls a win in three sets.

Reagan Stracke led against Summerland with 11 kills, one ace serve, two blocks, nine digs and 14 set assists; Addie Kettler was close behind with 10 kills, one ace serve, 13 digs and 17 set assists; Addison Steinhauser had eight kills, two blocks and 13 digs; Kyra Tubbs four kills, one dig and one set assist; Klaire Ramm three kills; Megan Karo one ace serve and 10 digs; Elly Steinhauser six digs and one set assist; and Cecelia Addison five digs and three set assists.

Ketteler was the MVP against Niobrara-Verdigre with eight kills, three ace serves, seven digs and eight set assists; Stracke had seven kills, one block, five digs and 10 set assists; A. Steinhauser four kills, three blocks, three digs and one set assist; Tubbs three kills; Alyssa Karo and Ramm had two kills each; E. Steinhauser three ace serves, nine digs and three set assists; and M. Karo four digs.

In the Riverside match-up Stracke had a solid 16 kills, one block, 12 digs and eight set assists; Kettler 14 kills, one block, 12 digs and 13 set assists; Ramm two kills and three digs; Addison seven ace serves, three digs and one set assist; A. Steinhauser two ace serves, three blocks and two digs; E. Steinhauser 10 digs and two set assists; and Karo nine digs.
