The North Central Nebraska Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge was held Tuesday, Mar. 11, at the O'Neill Community Center from 9:30 to 12 p.m. There were lots of students from different schools taking part in the event, which was designed for young innovators to show off their projects and ideas. Over $5,000 was given out to students participating, which will go toward further investing in their projects or other education. The event was a great opportunity for young talent to show off their creative ideas to professionals from around. “The level of talent and innovation displayed by these students was truly inspiring,” said Mike Peterson, one of the event organizers. “These young entrepreneurs have demonstrated creativity, determination and a strong business mindset, all of which are essential for success. I would like to thank our sponsors, Neko's Pub, Double Play Apparel, O'Neill Community Foundation, Nebraska Community Foundation, Top o' The Rock Designs, Northeast Community College and the O'Neill Chamber of Commerce.”
