Eagles Finish Up Regular Season At Mid-States

Two weeks ago the O'Neill Eagles finished up their regular season, competing in the Mid-States Conference Cross Country Meet, hosted by Battle Creek. 

Boys team placed fourth overall with two medalists. Max Berg placed seventh and Paul Fonseca placed 10th. Rest of the team placed as followed: Tomas Arciniega 28th, Trevor Alder 29th, Brandon Romero 31st  and Brock Latzel 37th. 

The girls team placed fifth overall. Taya Dickau was the lone medalist, placing 14th. Team members were Hailey Romesser 28th, Emma French 31st and Mollie Corkle 34th. 

“This was the first time we ran at this course in my tenure at O'Neill. It was a challenging course. I feel that everyone has a better race,” said Coach Hilker.
