The O'Neill Public Schools are gearing up for an early start next week. This year the Sixpence Infant and Toddler sites as well as the 4-year old Preschool will be in the new Administration Building located in the former National Guard Armory building at 635 N 4th Street. "With the acquisition of the Armory building, we had the opportunity to move both the Sixpence Infant and Toddler sites from their previous location into a central location in the Administration Building. This move provides a much safer environment for the students and teachers. Due to overcrowding at the Elementary School, the 4-year old preschool will also be located in the Administration Building. Having all of our Early Childhood students under one roof allows teachers, of multiple grade levels, the opportunity to collaborate," said O'Neill Superintendant Mike Rotherham. The school will be having an open house for the Preschool and Sixpence students and their parents on Monday, August 12 from 4-6 p.m. at the Administration Building at 635 North 4th. People may call Jill Brodersen at 402-336-1544 for more information. (0) COMMENTSWelcome to the discussion.
