Sheriff Serves Search Warrant In Ewing With Charges Pending For Three

On Friday, April 12 around 7 p.m., the Holt County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Holt County Attorney's Office, the O'Neill Police Department, The Atkinson Police Department, The Nebraska State Patrol and the Antelope County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in Ewing.

The Search warrant was served at a camper located at the northeast corner of Highway 20 and Highway 45B. Substances alleged to be controlled substances and several items believed to be drug paraphernalia were found during the execution of the search warrant. Torrey Peterson, age 30, of Ewing was arrested for alleged Possession of an Extremely Hazardous Drug;Possession of Methamphetamine more than 140 g; Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine; Possession of a controlled substance- Cocaine; Possession of controlled substance - a schedule IV drug, possession of marijuana less than an ounce; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Torrey Peterson was transported to O'Neill and incarcerated at the Holt County Jail. Charges are currently pending.

The Holt County Sheriff's Office had observed a vehicle leave the camper prior to the execution of the search warrant. The vehicle drove to the White Star Mini Mart. The driver of the vehicle walked into the White Star Mini Mart and entered the rest room. An employee informed the deputies the toilet was plugged. The rest room was secured, and deputies obtained equipment that retrieved a baggie from the toilet. The baggie contained a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Donovan Colfack was transported to O'Neill and incarcerated at the Holt County Jail. Charges are currently pending.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., a search warrant was served at a residence with an attached shop located at the north-east corner of Highway 20 and Highway 45B. Substances alleged to be controlled substances and several items believed to be drug paraphernalia were found during the execution of the search warrant. Drew Steskal age 34, of Ewing was arrested for alleged possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of marijuana 1 oz. or less; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Drew Steskal was transported to O'Neill and incarcerated at the Holt County Jail Charges are currently pending.
