Lincoln (January 23, 2023) – The Nebraska American Legion, held the drawing for its annual lottery fundraiser at their Mid-Year Conference on January 21 in Kearney. All proceeds of the lottery are used to support our Nebraska American Legion Programs. The $2,500 grand prize winner was Ronald Jensen of North Platte. Robert Egge of Kearney won $1,000, and Elaine Salyer of Exeter won $500. The five $200 winners were: Gary Wooten of Wilber (Gary will receive an additional $200 for being present); Chauncey Linn of Thedford; William Lux of Fremont; Richard Hoarty of Grafton; and James Hall of McCook. The five $100-dollar winners were: Dan Benes of Valparaiso; Gary Wooten of Wilber; Doug Frahm of Amelia; Lori Reimers of Central City; and Tina Nelson of Clay Center.
