The Stuart Volleyball team traveled to Gregory on Thursday to take on the Gregory Gorillas in a best three out of five match and Boyd County Spartans in a two out of three match up. The girls played an athletic and tall team in Gregory but aggressive hitting and serving from the Broncos kept them out of system enough to give the Broncos a win in three hard fought sets. With no break the Broncos had to take on the Boyd County girls for the second time this season. The girls had to battle against and improved Boyd, winning in two sets but a lot of unforced errors on the Broncos part kept the sets close until the end. Leading the Broncos against Gregory was Reagan Stracke with 17 kills, four ace serves and 12 digs; Lacey Paxton 14 kills, three ace serves, eight digs and three set assists; Addison Steinhauser seven kills and three blocks; Addie Ketteler three kills, one block, seven digs and 29 set assists; Brynn Almgren two ace serves, two blocks, four digs and seven set assists; Cecelia Addison two ace serves and two digs; Elly Steinhauser 13 digs; and Megan Karo one dig.
