The Stuart boys competed last week in the NVC Tournament and managed to place 4th overall. They competed against three teams, up until they made it to finals in Niobrara.

Sandy Miller, head of JH Boys Basketball at Stuart High School, had this to say about the games; “With another NVC Tournament in the books, Stuart went in 4th seed and finished 4th. Three tough games against good opponents winning the first game against EPPJ to make it to the final four. I thought we played our most solid game of the year against EPPJ. I was proud of how the boys stayed in system and made plays each time EPPJ made a run. The final two games we struggled with turnovers and rebounding. In both games, majority of Santee and Summerland points came off offensive rebounding or off our turn-overs. We will need to correct that moving forward.”
