The St. Mary's lady Cardinals showed no mercy during last week's games. They competed with Bloomfield and ChambersWheeler Central on Tuesday and Saturday. No quarter scores were recorded for the match, but the final outcome was a whopping 31 points difference! The end score was 60-29 in favor of the Cards. Mya Hedstrom took the lead this match with 19 points, shooting nine of four two-pointers for 44 percent, as well as seven rebounds; Lorissa Reiman 11 points and nine rebounds; Alissa Brabec 11 points and three rebounds; Gracie Williamson 10 points and seven rebounds; Hope Williamson four points and seven rebounds; Annabelle Barlow four points and five rebounds; and Emerson Mlnarik one point and three rebounds. The Cardinal's next game on Saturday was even more impressive than the last. This time they were up against the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades. The Cards started out with a dominant offensive, taking an early 13-point lead. Quarter two saw the Card's lead increase by five points, putting them in a good spot to win. The third quarter was when the girls really made a statement, downing the Renegades by a total of 20 points! This was pretty much an impossible comeback, and quarter four reflected this. The Cards won easily, thanks to their tremendous offensive and defensive capabilities. Hedstrom leads again with 21 points, shooting one of two three-pointers for 50 percent and six of 11 two-pointers for 55 percent, as well as 10 rebounds; Reiman 13 points and 11 rebounds; Brabec 12 points and three rebounds; Gracie Williamson six points and six rebounds; Hope Williamson three points and three rebounds; Barlow two points; and Lily Bauer and Mlnarik one rebound each.
