Right out the gate, the Cardinals took an early lead. Only by one point, though, so the Eagles still had a fair shot. Quarter two was when everything fell apart. The Eagles made some errors and allowed the Cardinals to jump them by 13 points by the halfway mark. Third quarter wasn't much better for the team, falling below by another 11 points. Quarter four was also a repeat, with the Cardinals winning by 5. The Eagles may have tried their hardest, but the Cardinals offense and defense overpowered them. The final score was 23-52. Taking charge this game was Smith with 10 points, shooting three of ten two-pointers for 30 percent, as well as 10 rebounds; Classen five points and seven rebounds;Young three points and three rebounds; Sidak two points and three rebounds; Hilker, Serena Chavez and Brena Gdanitz all one point each; and Dusatko three rebounds.
