There is a $40 fee to publish a wedding announcement. The bride and groom receive a free one year subscription (a $45 value) as a gift from The Independent to celebrate the couple's union. You may call 402-336-1220 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday-Friday to pay by credit or debit card. All items are due by 5 p.m. Mondays for that Thursday's edition. Please call our office to assure reception of your item if you have not received a response from our office.
