The O'Neill Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet last Friday evening at the O'Neill Community Center. The banquet had 250 plus in attendance at this year's ceremonies
Master of ceremonies for the event was Matt Bauer. The banquets theme was a favorite sports theme with tables decorated in many sports whether high school or professional.After the meal was completed the awards for the evening were given out. The ambassador award went to Rich Mcintosh for his years of service and persistance and work in getting the community center. Maury Koenig received an award for retiring from the chamber of commerce board after many years of service. Pat Fritz was honored for her years of service to the Chamber of Commerce and to the city of O'Neill as an ambasador.
The customer service award went to Trista Schaaf of Ogdens Hardware for her helpfulness and service with a smile when helping people with their Verizon cell phones. The award was presented by Brent Ogden. Jim Podany past president turned the gavel over to new chamber president Terry Miles. Miles thanked those in attendance and gave a special recognition to Pat Fritz for her service to the community.
