Vivian Peterson

Vivian Peterson, age 84, of Aurora, formerly of rural O'Neill, passed away early Sunday morning, June 17, 2012, at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in O'Neill with Jeff Morrow officiating.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery north of O'Neill.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill is in charge of arrangements.

Vivian was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Colome, SD, to Orville and Dora (Stein) Elshire. She married Robert J. Peterson in 1975 in O'Neill. He passed away Sept. 27, 2002.

Vivian is survived by two sons: Bill Peterson and wife, Paula of O'Neill and Dick Peterson and wife, Barb of Grand Island; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Plugge of Elba and a special neighbor and caregiver, Arlene Fox of rural O'Neill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Bob and her brother, Don Elshire.
