The Inman Village Board held their regular meeting at the Inman Community Center on August 30th, 2022 as published pursuant to Section 1-112 of the municipal code. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Inman board meetings have been changed to the last Tuesday of the month and time change to 7 p.m. The board was informed of the location of the Open meeting poster. Members present: Jacque Murray, Julie Engelbart, Sherryl Sawyer, Deb Fisher, Sheila Carr Village Clerk. Others present: Lonnie and Vicki Doty, Kyle and Nicole Campbell, Shirley Pendergast, Debra Morsbach, Randy Keil, Gaylen Sprague and Jeff Carr.

A motion was made by Murray and seconded by Fisher to approve all bill payments, all voted Aye.

New Business &

Continued Old Business

1.) Resolution #151 was signed to complete the sale of the small building behind the library to Lonnie & Vicki Doty for $500.

2.) Resolution #152 for the Annual Certification of Municipal Program Compliance for the community Highway Allocations was signed and approved by the board. A motion was made to accept the resolution by Murray and seconded by Fisher, all voting AYE.

3.)After a closed meeting an application for the board vacancy position was accepted from Deborah Morsbach, all voted AYE.

4.) The board voted all AYE to accept a policy of random drug testing of all employees/board members of the village.

5.) An answering machine will be installed in the Community Center for better communication, the phone number is “402-394-5557” please call this number and leave a message for the board members. Please do not call or text our personal phones unless it is an emergency. The answering machine will be checked on a regular basis. Thank you in advance for using this system.

6.) A building permit was presented for a permanent beer garden by Kent Harte for Harte's Pub. The back fencing part will be permitted, the front addition of a 5' x 40' concrete pad will be further reviewed.

7.) The board resolved the matter of the appliances and will forgive the debt to those involved. Motion by Fisher seconded by Murray.
