Village of Inman Proceedings (9-11-2025)

Meeting minutes for the regular monthly Village of Inman Board of Trustees held on September 8, 2025. 

The meeting was called to order by Nicole Campbell, Chairman, at 7:30 p.m. Roll call was taken. Board members present were Nicole Campbell, Randy Keil, and Scott Baker. Clerk, Paige Willams, was also present. Kyle Campbell and Michael Murray were absent. Lisa Everett was present in the audience.

Board has pre-approved monthly bills prior to meeting. All bills on an autopay schedule have also been pre-approved. 

The current agenda, comprised of the August 4, 2025 meeting minutes & bills/Treasurer's report were presented. Randy Keil made a motion to approve the agenda. Scott Baker seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

Nicole Campbell made a motion to approve the meeting minutes from June. Scott Baker seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

No public comment.

Old business: 

Our accountant has scheduled our yearly budget meeting for September 22, 2025 7:30 pm.

New business: 

Kyle Campbell has now missed six consecutive board meetings. Nicole Campbell doesn't want to let him go as a board member because he is currently working towards benefiting the village. Nicole Campbell made a motion to approve keeping Kyle Campbell on the board. Randy Keil seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

Emme Construction has placed a bid to demolish the library and to remove the fallen tree from the sand ditch. We are still waiting for asbestos testing results from Environmental Services. Nicole Campbell made a motion to approve Emme's bid for library demolition. Randy Keil seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. 

Nicole Campbell made a motion to table Emme's bid for tree removal until further notice. Randy Keil seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried.

Nicole Campbell made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Randy Keil seconded the motion. None opposed. Meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
