Victoria L. Pluff

Victoria Louise Pluff, age 52, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital.

Visitation was held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in O'Neill with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in O'Neill with pastor Mike Durre officiating. 

Burial was at the O'Neill City Cemetery.

Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson was in charge of arrangements.

Victoria Louise Walton was born on January 31, 1960, to Richard and Elsie (Rockford) Walton in Atkinson. She grew up in the Atkinson area attending West Holt High School until the 12th grade.  

Vickie moved to O’Neill where she had two daughters, Heather and Amanda.

She loved baking, embroidering and taking care of her plants. Her greatest love was taking care of her grandchildren. Vickie babysat for them and always made time to love and care for them.

She had a wonderful smile and was always willing to help someone.  She would often put other peoples' needs ahead of her own.

Vickie is survived by her daughters,  Heather Hammer and her husband, Mark and Amanda Stanice and her husband, Joseph all of O’Neill; her fiancé, James Lunn of O’Neill; sister, Shirley Bowman of O’Neill; brothers, Dick Walton of Norfolk and Bill Walton of O’Neill;  brother-in-law, Wade Latzel of O’Neill; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Elsie and sisters, Diane Latzel and Suzie Maly.
