Bassett — Vernon H. Wood Jr., 74. of Bassett, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at the church in Ainsworth.

Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Ainsworth with military rites by the Bassett American Legion Post 123.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson is in charge of the arrangements.
