Tina M. Pinkerman
Tina Marie Pinkerman, age 42, of O'Neill, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Faith Community Church in O'Neill with Rev. Craig Collins, Rev. Grant Graff and Rev. Charles Chaffin officiating. Music was provided by Judy Haun.
Honoarary pallbearers were Denny and Letta Earll, Pat and Jill Langan, Mike and Shelly Ross, Chris and JaLena Slack, Todd and Joyce Schneider, Rob and Jen Musson and Dave Kabella.
Inurnment will be held at a later date in the O'Neill Cemetery in O'Neill.
Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of arrangements.
Tina was born on July 9, 1970, to Edith and Gary Froebe in Norfolk. She attended elementary, middle and high school in Spencer.
As a young girl she was a part of the Community Theater's production of Fiddler on the Roof. Tina was also chosen to be a heart girl for the Carnival of Hearts.
She attended Sunshine Bible Academy her sophomore year, where she was active in volleyball and was a wrestling cheerleader. While attending high school in Spencer she was a Carnival of Hearts candidate, participated in FHA, flag core, showed sheep as a part of FFA and was voted prom queen. One of the highlights of Tina's high school years was a mission trip that she took to Brazil where she worked with under privileged children and helped to build a church. She graduated from Spencer Public High School with the class of 1988. She moved to Norfolk and attended Joseph's College of Beauty and received her degree in cosmetology in 1989.
On Nov. 27, 1990, Tina was united in marriage to Bob Pinkerman in Spencer. Tina and Bob began their married life together in O'Neill. In 1993 they moved to North Platte so Bob could attended college. They had two daughters, Desi and Randi. Tina had a great passion for making those around her feel beautiful. She owned and operated her own beauty shop, "Headlines," in O'Neill for nearly 12 years.
She had a caring spirit and loved spending time with her daughters, husband, family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, cross stitching, playing games, camping and fishing. Tina was a member of the O'Neill Eagle's Booster Club and the Spencer Wesleyan Church. Her greatest passion in life was supporting her children in all of their sports and activities.
Tina is survived by her husband, Bob Pinkerman and two daughters, Desi and Randi Pinkerman, all of O'Neill; her parents, Roger and Edith Loock of Spencer; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Dee Pinkerman of O'Neill; grandmothers, Donna Froebe of Columbus, KS and Laura (Bonnie) Loock of Bristow; sisters, Paula Mathison of Spencer, Angela Loock of South Sioux City and Amber (Nick)Weber of Norfolk; one brother, Ryan Loock of Crete; brothers-in-law, Bill Pinkerman and Curt Mathison; nieces, Tristan (Mathison) Miles, Alexa Mathison, and Jaydn and McKinzie Weber; nephews, Christian Wedige, Trey, Taylor and Taren Pinkerman; aunts, uncles and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Gary Froebe; grandparents, Leonard and Ruth Chaffin; grandfathers, Raymond Froebe and Herald (Joe) Loock and uncle, Rick Loock.
The loss of such a wonderful person will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. The impact she made upon people's lives will never fade. Tina will always be watching over us from above.
