Page — Susanne "Sue" Mae Richardson, 80, of Page, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025 at her home in Page.

Susanne was born on Feb. 4, 1945, in O'Neill, to William and Marie (Harris) O'Brien. She grew up in Page, where she attended Page Public School and graduated with the Class of 1963.

After high school, Sue spent a few years in Norfolk and Salem, OR before finding her way to Wichita, KS where she spent nearly all of her adult life. She worked for a canteen company for several years and later retired from Coleman Industries Division there in Wichita. KS. Following her retirement she returned to Page.

Sue had a lot of fun with the stock car races in Wichita, KS and had a keen interest in motorcycles. Always found interest in long drives and the simple things in life. We all enjoyed her sense of humor; she loved to tease. Sue found joy in simply watching television and keeping up with her sports teams.

Sue is survived by her son Tim Sokerka; four sisters Peggy (Lynn) Grass of Page, Sharon (Troy) Saner of Wamsutter, WY, Sally (Ron) Bjork of Rawlins, WY and Sandra (Bob) Bilyeu of North Platte; one brother Michael (Sheryle) O'Brien of South Sioux City; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Pat O'Brien.
