Susan Jensen

Susan Jensen, age 57, of O'Neill, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 19, 2013, at her home in O'Neill.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 4-8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in O'Neill with Rev. Craig Collins officiating. Music was provided by Terry Kloppenborg, pianist and Marvin Ziska, soloist.

Pallbearers were Ryan Anderson, Zack Cruz, Shane Jensen, Kennedy Cruz, Christian Davis, Trevor Davis, C.J. Davis and Rachael Delong.

Honorary pallbearers were Miguel Cruz, Amanda Davis, Jaxon Benscoter, Jordon Davis and Lexi Jensen.

Burial will be in the O'Neill Prospect Cemetery at a later date.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of arrangements.

Susan was born on Sept. 18, 1955, in O'Neill to James and Mary (Davidson) Banks. She graduated from O'Neill High School. She married Ronald Jensen on Dec. 22, 1972, in O'Neill. 

She taught Sunday school at the O'Neill United Methodist Church in the early 1980s.

Susan is survived by her husband Ron; four children: Angel and husband Chris Davis of Gillette, WY, Jason Jensen and fiance Javanah of Wakefield, Tabitha and husband Alberto Cruz of Schuyler and Adam Jensen and wife Rebecca of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her stepmother  Claudette Banks of O'Neill; three sisters, Patty Kopejtka of O'Neill, Michelle Fischer and Marsha Banks, both of Atkinson and two brothers, James Banks of Pierce and Calvin Banks of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
