Stuart FFA Chapter Members Bring Home Honors From 2019 Nebraska State Fair

GRAND CHAMPION — Stuart FFA member Abigail Tubbs was awarded the FFA Grand Champion for her junior division range board at the state fair.

GRAND ISLAND — Several members of the Stuart FFA Chapter recently competed at the 2019 Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island. 

Abigail Tubbs was awarded the FFA Grand Champion honor for the top junior division range board. 

Lainey Paxton exhibited projects in the horticulture division (vegetables and flowers) and brought home three blue and two red ribbons. 

FFA members exhibiting welding boards were Grant Pease and Logan Reynold who both received a purple ribbon.

Sophomore FFA members created range boards and exhibited them at the state fair. Results are as follows: Purple — Emma Alder, Grace Alder, Ashlyn Kaup and Abigail Tubbs; Blue — Angie Avitia, Katilynn Kaup, Cadence Kramer, Cameron Sattler, Ryan Steinhauser and Hannah Tersteegan; and Red — Tyson Stracke.
