Stuart Downs Shelton 47-16

Last Friday afternoon, the Stuart Bronco football team traveled to Shelton to battle with the Bulldogs. The Broncos came out firing out on all cylinders. The Broncos posted 47 unanswered points before the half and took a 47-0 lead. Shelton was able to score two touchdowns late in the game and the Broncos won 47-16. 

Offensivley, the Broncos were led by Owen Littau on the ground. Littau only carried the ball eight times but racked up 84 yards. Littau also had one catch for 17 yards. Austin Connot wasn't far behind with 76 yards on eight carries. Drew Schmaderer carried the ball only three times for 36 yards and one touchdown. Kayde Ramm was 4/5 through the air for 43 yards. Ramm's three completions were for touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns were to Atwood Albrecht and one to Cameron Kaup. Ramm also ran in a touchdown from three yards out. 

The defense was led by Hayden Dvorak who accounted for 11 tackles during the contest. Albecht accounted for nine tackles and Austin Connot had six. Schmaderer and Nigel Addison each had an interception during the game. Addison returned his for 80 yards to the house for a touchdown. Bryer Almgren, Seth Connot and Littua each had four tackles. Tommy Paxton and Kyler Schaaf each had three tackles. Schaaf also recorded a sack. Austin Fuelberth chipped in with two tackles. 

Lane Boelter was 5/5 for PAT for the Broncos. 

The Broncos round out the regular season Friday night in Litchfield as they take on the Spartans. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
