The St. Mary's boys went one and one on the Holiday Tournament play in Battle Creek. The boys won 69-68. St. Mary extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Logan Brabec. The St. Mary's Cardinals escaped with a win on Friday against the Battle Creek Braves by the margin of a single free throw, 69-68, thanks in part to Brabec, who went 14 for 32 on his way to 37 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The match between the Cards and the Braves was close as the Cards held on the lead by two at the half. The Braves kept the heat on the Cards, making up lost points in the fourth. Logan Brabec led the Cards with a whopping 37 points, making five three-pointers, five rebounds and four steals; Gage Hedstrom had 14 points and 11 rebounds; James Eby had 11 points, five rebounds and one steal; Drake Berg had six points and two rebounds.
