Ewing — Sheila Teresa Wright, 62, of Ewing, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 at Arbor Care Center in O'Neill.

Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing with a rosary.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 at the church in Ewing. Fr. Bernard Starman officiated. Burial was in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Ewing.

Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of the arrangements.

Sheila was born Dec. 15, 1962 to Bud and Geraldine Wright in Neligh. Sheila grew up on the ranch west of Ewing. She attended Ewing High School and graduated with the class of 1981.  

After high school she spent much of her time caring for children and helping the elderly. Sheila had a kind heart and was very good at caring for others

Sheila enjoyed spending time with her son Tyler and his family, visits from her family and friends, watching game shows and cheering on the Denver Broncos.

Her love of family and her faith helped her to persevere through life's challenges. She was also known for her spunky remarks and her very contagious smile and laugh.

Sheila is survived by her son Tyler (Harley) Wright of Neligh; two grandchildren Theresa and Irma; six brothers and sisters Rod (Melanie) Wright of North Platte, Jeff (Micki) Wright of rural Ewing, Lisa (Gary) Connot of O'Neill, Angie Rohlfs of Sioux City, Iowa, Will Wright of Wichita, KS, Doug (Dawn) Wright of Humeston, Iowa and  Matt (Donnelle) Wright of Oakdale; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Geraldine Wright.
