Robert Kuhl
Robert Kuhl, age 86, of Butte, passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 26, 2011, at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with Rev. Tim Hazen officiating. Music was provided by Bud and Darlene Jons.
Pallbearers were James Brooks, Jim Brooks, Kenny Schulte, Larry Hermsen, Doug Hermsen and Gary Binder. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service.
Burial was in the O'Neill Cemetery in O'Neill with military graveside rites conducted by the Butte American Legion Post #51.
Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill was in charge of arrangements.
Robert was born on Sept. 14, 1925, at Iowa City, Iowa, to Evelyn and Harry Clausen. Robert was raised in Rock Island, IL. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran serving his country from 1943 to 1950. He married Beverly Jackson on Sept. 7, 1960, at Iowa City, Iowa.
He was a window cleaner on skyscraper buildings in major United States cities. He was a member of the Butte American Legion Post #51 and the Full Gospel Church.
Robert is survived by his wife, Beverly,; two daughters, Sue Wheeler of Butte and Robin Mrsny and husband, Jeff of Norfolk; three sons, Michael Kuhl of Overland Park, KS, Robert Kuhl and wife, Paula and Joe Kuhl and wife, Destiny, all of Butte; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one daughter.
