Bob was born in O'Neill on June 1, 1935 to parents Oren Gibson and Eleanor Meyer Gibson.
Bob spent his younger years in Nebraska, moving to Minnesota in 1976 and lived in Brownsville, Texas with his wife Teresa from 1983 until his death.
He was involved in the irrigation and hose industries his entire life, selling for several U.S. and European companies. He loved to connect with people and was quick to form a relationship and developed lasting friendships with many of his clients.
Always quick with a witty response or a joke, he loved to talk to everyone.
Bob and Teresa shared a love for animals, adopting many dogs and cats that crossed paths with them, always giving them a loving home and a great life.
He was an avid golfer for many years and enjoyed birding, gardening and travel. He was also quick to help anyone in need, recognizing when his good fortune could be used to give someone else a helping hand.
His wit and love will be missed by all of his family, we are sure he is still telling jokes and extending his big heart to anyone in need!
