Richard Sanders, age 83, of O'Neill, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 3, 2013, at his home in O'Neill. There will be no services or visitation.  

Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill handled the arrangements.

Richard was born on March 31, 1930, in Holt County to Ervin and Minnie (Rouse) Sanders.  He married Christine Petersen on Sept. 27, 1954, in O'Neill.

He is survived by his wife Christine; four children: David Cradit and wife M.J. of Vallejo, CA, Bob Sanders and wife Beth of O'Neill, Randy Sanders and wife Rose of Sioux Falls, SD, and Cathy Coburn and husband Gregg of O'Neill; daughter-in-law Jeanette Cradit of Lincoln;  10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna June Campbell of Arizona and Janice Hart of Denver, CO; and two brothers, Gary Sanders of Spencer and Kenneth Sanders of Columbus.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bud and Willis Sanders and one son, Richard Cradit.
