Richard A. Brau, age 83, of La Vista, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. Visitation was held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Saint Columbkille Church in Papillion. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Saint Columbkille Church in Papillion. Internment was held at the Calvary Cemetery. Military graveside honors were conducted by V.F.W. #2503. Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, RaeDee, formerly of Amelia; daughter, Rhonda Cooley of Miami, FL; sisters, Edith Shepherd of Overland Park, KS and Mary Davis of Omaha; brother, Maurice Brau and wife Betty of Walsenburg, CO; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by first wife, Ruth; sister, Jean Farris; brothers-in-law, Dean Shepherd, Dane Davis and Richard Farris. Memorials may be directed to the family.
