Ponca Creek Assisted Living Community Of Butte held its Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 18th. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out to tour the building and celebrate this milestone with us. The turnout was incredible, and we are truly grateful for the overwhelming support. The ribbon was cut by Anita Mathine, Administrator of Ponca Creek Living Assisted Living. Board members who have been instrumental throughout the reopening process were also in attendance. Village Board Chairman Scott Brewster addressed the crowd, expressing appreciation to the many volunteers, board members, donors, and community supporters who have given their time, energy, and prayers to make this project possible. The facility features a 10-apartment complex, including eight single-bedroom apartments and two two-bedroom apartments. In addition to providing assisted living services, Ponca Creek Living is offering Meals on Wheels within the Village of Butte. Those outside of town are welcome to stop in to pick up meals or join us for lunch and a visit. While we celebrate this important first step, work continues toward the full reopening of the nursing home. We remain committed to completing that process and ensuring long-term care services return to our community. We cannot thank our volunteers, donors, employees, and supporters enough. It has truly taken area communities, a county, and a state standing behind us to make this possible. That collective support is the driving force ensuring our friends, neighbors, and loved ones can remain close to the area they know and love.
