On Dec. 9, 2024, the Holt County Sheriffs Office and the O'Neill Police Department investigated a burglary that occurred at the O'Neill Country Club. The O'Neill Country Club is located at 49175 West Hynes Avenue, O'Neill, Nebraska. The perpetrator entered the building during the early morning hours and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and a safe. The perpetrator attempted to gain access to a gaming machine loc ted in the building. The investigation of this burglary is ongoing.
