THE O'NEILL EAGLES and The St. Mary's Cardinals Football teams have advanced into the postseason playoffs. The Eagles finished their season going 8-1, losing only the last game to Columbus Lakeview at home last Friday evening. The Eagles' loss sent them to a 10 place power point setting facing off against eighth place sitting Auburn. Auburn with the higher seat will host the game in Auburn on Friday, Nov. 1 at 5:15 p.m.
THE ST. MARY'S CARDINALS have already played one play off game last Thursday, Oct. 24 and won over Cambridge. The win will set the 6-3 Cardinals against 7-1 Central Valley in Wolbach on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. Central Valley has a higher seed than the Cardinals. The Cardinals have played Central Valley before. In their last meeting the Cards lost to the Cougars in the first round of the playoffs 52-6 in the 2022 season.  +2
