O'NEILL'S TALON KURTZ takes his opponent down in one of his first matches in the O'Neill Invite.

The O'Neill Wrestling Invite was held this past weekend at the Aerie. The O'Neill girls placed 12 of 20 with the West Holt Girls placing first followed by Battle Creek, Pierce, Ralston and the Summerland Girls taking fifth.

Scoring for the Lady Eagle wrestlers were Emma Bowder at 100 lbs. placing  eighth, Anna Kiser  at 105 lbs. placing eighth, Bristol Engelhaupt at 110 lbs. placing eighth, Mollie Corkle at 115 lbs. placing fourth, Bailey Salers at 125 lbs. placing eighth, Grace Drueke at 130 lbs. placing first, Payton Peter at 135 lbs. placed eighth.

In the boys division the Eagles placed Eighth of 19 with Battle Creek, Pierce, David City, Valentine, Ralston and Chamberlain rounding out the top five. Scoring for the boys were: Barett Troester at 113 lbs. placing sixth, Reid Laible at 120 lbs. placed fourth, Tavon Morrow at 175 lbs. placed eighth, Grady Welke at 215 lbs. placed first and at the Heavy Weight class Brody Jakubowski placed first.
