Last week the OHS Wrestlers competed in district play at Centennial Public Schools in Utica. The Eagles came together for a 10th place rank with 68.0 points. Placing for the team was Grady Welke at 215 lbs. placing first and Brody Jakubowski at 285 lbs. placing first. They weren't the only Eagles at the event. Also competing were Reid Laible at 113 lbs., Barrett Troester at 120 lbs., Shotaro Tetsukawa at 126 lbs., Angel Felix Garcia at 132 lbs., Talon Kurtz at 138 lbs., Mason Seger at 144 lbs., Ian Yates at 150 lbs., Blain Sholes at 157 lbs. Greyson Frank at 175 lbs. and Evan Shoemaker at 190 lbs. The Lady Eagle Wrestling have sent Mollie Corkle at 115 lbs. and Grace Drueke at 130 lbs. The boys will travel to Omaha this Thursday, Feb. 19 through Saturday, Feb. 21 for state level play.
