OHS Qualifies Two Wrestlers For State

The OHS Eagle girls made a special trip to Plainview for a multi-day districts Invitational last Friday and Saturday. Of the 32 schools in attendance, the Eagles climbed their way to ninth place with 70 points.

Placing for the girls were Mollie Corkle at 115 lbs. placing third and Grace Drueke at 130 lbs. placing first.

State play for the girls begins Feb. 17-18.

Also on Friday the boys attended the Fairbury invitational for one final standard game. The boys came home with an eighth place ranking with 79 points.

Placing for the Eagles were Reid Laible at 113 lbs. placing second, Angel Felix Garcia at 132 lbs. placing first, Grady Welke at 215 lbs. placing first and Brody Jakubowski at 285 lbs. placing second.
