OHS Girls Golf

The O'Neill Eagle girls golf team placed second in the Ainsworth Invite on Aug. 30.

The team took second behind Valentine and ahead of West Holt.

Kaylin Gaughenbaugh took third with an 83, Cecelia Mlnarik shot 99 for sixth, Clair Popkes shot 103 for 10th and Rachel Hupp 112 for 13th.

On Thursday, Sept. 1 the Eagles traveled to Atkinson and took first in the West Holt Golf Invite.

The girls won with a score of 399 over Valentine with a 401.

Gaughenbaugh led the pack with a 79, Mlnarik shot a 98 for fifth, Popkes shot 107 for 14th, Hailey Scofield shot 115 for 19th and Rachel Hupp shot 116 for 20th.
