SHED FIRE - Around 8:44 p.m. on Jan. 27 The O'Neill Fire Department was called to a shed on fire at the Mike Mahony residence five miles south and 1.5 west of O'Neill. The shed was fully involved when the department arrived. The shed was used as storage for ranching equipment, tractors and assorted vehicles. The shed and its contents were a complete loss. The cause of the fire is indeterminate at this time and the Nebraska State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the fire. The Department was on scene until about 12:45 a.m.  +1
