Marilyn June Howard

Marilyn June Howard, age 69, of O'Neill, passed away Wednesday June 29, 2011, at the Good Samaritan Society in Grand Island. 

Memorial Visitation was Friday at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Burial willl be at a later date at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Marilyn was born June 26, 1942, in O'Neill to Roy and Gladys (Abbott) Plessel. She grew up in the O'Neill area and attended school there. On August 2, 1960, she married Jerome Howard in O'Neill. To this union 2 children were born. They made their home in O'Neill. Jerome passed away September 30, 2007.

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Rowse and her husband, Phillip of St. Paul; one son, Mark Howard of Lincoln; three grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Plessel of O'Neill and Gary Plessel of California; two sisters, Connie Read of O'Neill and Mary Grunke of Omaha.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and two sisters.
